<p>The TriChix Multisport Splash &amp; Dash brings you the excitement of an “Aquathlon”event - an official USA Triathlon race format that combines swimming and running. </p> <p>Participants can choose either the short course (450 yd swim, 2 mile run) or the long course (900 yd swim, 4 mile run).</p> <p>Other things you should know:</p> <p>➡️This event is perfect for anyone looking to try something new, reconnect with competition, or have fun with your fellow Chix.  </p> <p>➡️Not ready for the full format? That’s ok; you can choose to do just one of the disciplines.</p> <p>➡️The event is open to all active members and will be capped at 50 participants</p> <p>➡️The event will be held at Park West - Soundside parking lot</p> <p>➡️Refreshments and fellowship to follow afterwards. Due to the busy nature of the beach during this time, our event site must be broken down by 9:45 a.m. </p> <p>➡️ Want to volunteer instead? That’s great! We need all hands on deck (TriDudes are welcome too)!</p>
